TIRED OF IT

~TIRED OF IT~

What we think we feel
And what we feel we feel
Are often not what it is
Or how we actually feel.

Thinking and feeling at the same time
Could be deceiving and confusing,
For thinking and feeling are two
Separate emotions-
But most often the two
Beats minds like mine badly.

So I have decided not to think
Nor feel
But to be unfeeling
Devoid myself of all earthly thoughts and emotions
For the more I experience any
The more perplex I become,
The more stupid I look in nature’s eyes
And the more naïve I seem to my lover

But if I could only tell without thinking
Or even feel and explain things without feeling
I think I would be a bit worthwhile
In the eyes of myself, nature and my lover,
For I’m tired of thinking and feeling at the same time.

REST IN

~REST IN~

Come on in
If you have nowhere comfortable to lie your heart.
I will pack my thinks and
All my thoughts
To the empty chambers downstairs

Rest in my mind and
You are free to lie anywhere in its chambers
Free to use anything in there
Being it a bed made of sweet love memories
A couch woven out of the fibres of my undying love
A pillow sewn and stuffed
With my unstoppable affections for you,

So Come on in-
No need to knock
For what is mine
Is equally yours too.
So rest in my mind
Oh! Just for tonight
For I am ever willing
To accommodate you and your
Luggage of emotions
And all your thoughts.

For today is your day and there is only a
Chamber in my mind furnished with love and decorated
With forgiveness which I can manage to spare
And because I have nothing to offer at this point of your life
I shall spare you this chamber for as long
As long may be for you to sleep in
And if you get tired resting, you’re free to pack out
But if you choose to stay a bit longer
Than long can afford,
Then, yes it’s still for you and all yours.
So come on in and rest inside the bright
Chambers of my mind.

BENEATH YOUR WHITE SHEETS

~BENEATH YOUR WHITE SHEETS~

I have taken much of my chances
And missed more of my opportunities
But today I have come to know
What it means to be liberated
And what it takes to be free-
What it entails to be gone
How it seems to be a living ghost
Living in tomorrow’s mansion while in the
Broad day light of one’s today.

I have been refined by the yearnings of your soul
Like a crude oil, and I’m now the finest petrol
And I’m once more ready to burn to ashes,
To make what is gone go forever.
So in a child’s humility I beg of you
To bury our past and cover it with its
Grey hairs of our mistrusts, immaturities
Insecurities, misunderstandings and all the likes
That are thousands in precision.

For I won’t again sit where I sat yesterday
Neither will I sleep where I slept yesterday
Or stand where I stood the day before yesterday.
So let me once more-just let me for this once sleep beneath
The white sheets of your skins tonight
For I want to cover myself with this warm compassionate
Sheets of your skins
While you wrap those comfortable heavy
Blankets of your heart around my reckless heart.
The same heart that fought itself and tore
To pieces you, from its presences
So let me dive into the white sheets of you skin
Till I'm completely drowned in your forgiveness,
As I continue to swim in the oceans of my remorse
Beneath the white sheets of your skin.

BEHIND US

~BEHIND US~
Behind us there is a picture to remember
A tear to remember
A lesson to learn and revise
An unfinished puzzle to solve
An unfinished dream to interpret
A lot of mystified funnies and silly mysteries.

There is a leftover smile behind us
An empty room of unfading giggles
There is a stream of inexpressible emotions
Dammed tears full of regrets
Swaying tress of disappointments
Rushing waterfalls of unforgettable happiness
Falling in the deepest valley of sorrows
Pains and heartbreaks in our souls.

Just behind you and I stands a shadow
A shadow made out of you and I
With heads on shoulders
Unwilling to let go off us
With hands wrapped around waists looking-
Looking at us depart into our separate worlds
Even though they can’t help it
While sheepishly looking
With hands and eyes stretched out
Stretched out to get another
Glimpse of our real selves-
Just behind us.

BELOVED MANKIND

~Beloved Mankind~

Dear God, I do not doubt thee
But I would just want to know these;
Why some must be born blind?
While others with sight, but get blind along the way in life.
Could it be the way of life that is so unfavourable to humanity?
Or must these also happen
For thy Glorification?

Mankind your beloved are suffering.
The poor grow poorer,
As the rich elevates richer.
And Thou seem to be awoken always
But it’s as if Thou take no note of them.

Where do Thou reside, and where is Thy residence?
Could it be in the blazing sun?
For present mankind has made all possible efforts
Even in their imperfect state to see
Thy face like times of Eli.
Perhaps just to ask Thee with a much
Sincerity of heart to forgive
The generation of Adam.

And at least grant the poorer, a taste of richness
The over rich a fair taste of poverty
The sick a taste of good health
The blind a taste of good sight.
Even if these wishes could not be granted
For a life time, at least just for a while
For Mankind your beloved are suffering.
